Free Heart: Anchor Tee Promo

Hunter and I recently bought a wide angle lens adapter for our camera, so of course we've been busy playing with it nonstop. On Sunday we explored the train tracks nearby to photograph Richard, a new friend. I'm so happy with how the images are turning out.

The anchor tee is sold out at the moment, but I'm so excited to use these shots for promotion and the restock. Until then, we're working on so many new things AND I've got word that our promo video is finally ready to be viewed. I hope everyone is as excited as I am to see it.

Our lens adapter is the Neewer .45x super wide angle piece, available on Amazon for incredibly cheap (about $10). We were really surprised by the quality, which is fantastic for the price. If you're looking for a basic adapter (or even a temporary one), it really was a great purchase.
Let me know what your favorite go-to camera accessories are. xo, Kiki Michelle

Countdown To Two

That's right! Brendon will be two next month. How time flies. I feel like his first birthday party was just a few weeks ago! I'm so excited to be planning this year's party (Bubble Guppies!).
Here are some photos from his Mickey Mouse party last year...

I can't wait to share more photos after his party next month. He lives with my mom in Pennsylvania, so I don't often have the opportunity to capture him and all his silliness on camera; but he's glad to ham it up for us when we visit.

I'll be sure to share party decorations with you when I start making them! xo, Kiki Michelle

Baking Hack: Cinnamon Roll "Muffins"

Well, sort of! My fiance loves cinnamon rolls; but I hate the sticky mess, so this week I tried something new. All you need is a package of store bought cinnamon rolls, muffin tins, and baking cups.

Ta da! Cinnamon roll "muffins" are our new favorite simple breakfast. Instead of putting them in a round pan together: separate the rolls, stick them in baking cups, and bake them in muffin tins. They still finish perfectly by following the baking instructions on the tube. (Note: This will only work with small rolls, not large ones like Pillsbury Grands.)
The paper cup catches icing overflow, so there's no mess. No sticky dirty pans or fingers!

Want other ways to amp up your cinnamon rolls? Unroll your dough and add...
  • Cooked bacon! Turkey bacon would work best because it's less greasy.
  • Chocolate chips!
  • Apples! Peel and chop the apples, then toss them in a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Blueberries!
Or if you want to liven up your frosting, mix in...
  • Melted caramel!
  • Apple butter!
  • Fruit preserves!
Have fun!
